About the role:
This established healthcare diagnostics company is seeking a Finance Manager for their York office. In this pivotal role, you'll manage critical financial processes that support scientists and medical professionals who deliver diagnostic excellence every day.

What you'll do:
- Drive financial accuracy through meticulous management of accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
- Own the billing system and weekly invoicing schedules
- Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting
- Support budget forecasting and process improvements
- Automation of reporting and process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial excellence

What you'll bring:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Some formal accountancy training - part qualified or a stopped studier is ideal
- A self starter with the ability to build relationships across the business
- Advanced Excel skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Collaborative mindset with independent problem-solving skills
