Finance Manager

Our client based close to Central Leeds is looking for a commercially minded and hands on Finance Manager to lead the day to day finance operations of the business.

The role will oversee statutory accounts, management accounts and team leadership across a multi entity structure.

This could suit an experience finance manager or an accountant seeking a 1st move from practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and delivery of timely accurate monthly management accounts and statutory accounts across several entities
• Review and challenge variances, delivering insight and commentary to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor a small team of part-qualified accountants and transactional assistants, overseeing their workload and development.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting updates across the business.
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets.
• Oversee VAT and CIS return submissions, ensuring full compliance across the group.
• Support the external audit process by reviewing audit schedules, managing deliverables, and liaising with auditors.

Salary: £50,000 + £55,000 + Bonus & Benefits
