An exciting opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion for a Finance Manager to join a high-growth business within the Media and Entertainment sector. The business has a current turnover of £30 million and continued expansion is on the horizon.

This role will report directly in to the Financial Controller (recently promoted) making this position a second in command within the Finance team. The role will be responsible for looking after a team of 2 beneath them which includes 2 x Assistant Accountants, bridging the gap between the transactional team and the Financial Controller.

The business are a rapidly growing business who are forward thinking and known for investing in their people. The business are set to double in size over the next year due to exciting contracts that have recently been signed.

Key Highlights of the Role:

• Oversee the preparation and delivery of management accounts, ensuring accuracy in P&L ownership and supporting across month-end, half - year and year-end close processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2 x Assistant Accountant, providing guidance and development opportunities as they progress through their professional qualifications/careers.
• Drive financial insight and decision-making through regular engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to group-level strategic initiatives and gain exposure to broader commercial activity across the business.
• Provide financial leadership as the business scales, with a clear path to senior leadership roles.

Profile of the ideal candidate:

• ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified
• 2+ years PQE
• A team player who has a track record of getting their hands dirty.
• Someone who is driven to progress within their career.
• An individual who can see past the numbers and identify growth areas for the business.
