??Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.

Are you a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced finance professional? Reed Accountancy are working with this great construction company in the search for a Finance Manager to join them in a dynamic and vital role in our growing company! This is a standalone Finance Manager role reporting to the Directors.

?? Key Responsibilities

?? Weekly Tasks

• Manage supplier invoices and sales invoicing
• Maintain and reconcile bank accounts
• Process payments and remittance advices
• Set up new suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and projects
• Maintain job numbers and spreadsheets on Dropbox
• Perform Sage backups and apply recurring payments

? Fortnightly

• Process and pay subcontractor invoices
• Coordinate payroll with accountants
• Ensure timely remittance and invoice approvals

?? Monthly

• Submit CIS returns and reconcile bank
• Prepare and pay HMRC liabilities (PAYE/NI/CIS)
• Generate monthly wage journals and supplier payment reports
• Reconcile Barclaycard and manage project files

?? Quarterly & Yearly

• Submit VAT returns and payments
• Prepare year-end reports and backups
• Coordinate with accountants and manage insurance renewals
• Handle corporation tax and financial year-end processes

?? Skills & Experience

• Previous Finance/Accounts Management experience
• Proficient in Sage Line 50, Excel, and Dropbox
• Knowledge of CIS, Reverse Charge VAT, and retentions
• Strong credit control and communication skills
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
