About the Company:
Recently acquired by a major player in construction and facilities management, this growing SME is poised for further expansion and development under new leadership.

The Role:
Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a small, dedicated finance team. Reporting directly to the newly appointed CFO, you will oversee all aspects of financial management and play a key role in supporting the company’s ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cost Control & Project Accounting: Manage job costing, track project performance against budgets, and analyse margins to enhance financial efficiency across all projects.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Oversee day-to-day cash flow, ensure timely supplier payments and client invoicing, and maintain strong liquidity to support business operations.
• Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure full compliance with tax laws and industry regulations while delivering accurate management accounts and statutory reports.
• Financial Strategy & Business Support: Work closely with operations and procurement teams to provide actionable financial insights, influence pricing strategies, and identify cost-saving opportunities aligned with the company's growth objectives.

Desirable Skills:
• Fully or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Solid experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
