Finance Manager

£35,000 to £40,000 plus Bonus and Benefits

Derbyshire, East Midlands (Hybrid Working)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a growing family-owned SME retail distributor to recruit a Finance Manager. Concentrating firmly on the development and wellbeing of their employees, our client pride themselves on creating a team focused, fun and friendly working culture.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Manage a small finance team.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Provide detailed sales analysis and financial forecasts.
• Year-end accounting for auditing, ensuring compliance throughout.
• Develop weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Control overheads, set budgets, and collaborate with management.
• Cashbook, payroll, reconciliations, and oversight of purchase and sales ledgers.
• Seek improvements for cost efficiencies and financial processes.
• Ad-hoc tasks.

You should have achieved or hold the abilities within:

• ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, AAT, QBE or currently studying.
• Strong IT skills, ideally within Sage Line 50 and Excel.
• A self-motivator with the ability to work independently.
• Experience with foreign currency transactions would be desirable.
