Location: Portsmouth

Salary up to £50,000

We are working exclusively with this lovely Hotel in Portsmouth to recruit a Finance Manager.

The Finance Manager will be part of the senior management team and have 1 person reporting in to them.

Main Objectives of the role of Finance Manager are:

Daily Tasks:

• Check Bank Accounts and post transactions to Sage
• Check Emails
• Reconcile Actual Card Payments to Guestline Payments.
• Attend 10 @ 10 Meetings

Weekly Tasks:

• Attend HOD Meeting - Produce Salary and Income Actual and Forecast Analysis
• Attend Revenue Meeting - Produce Forecast Income Analysis

Monthly Tasks:

• Produce Management Accounts
• Update Fixed Asset Register
• Balance Sheet Reconcilation
• Pay Suppliers

Annual Tasks:

• Produce Budget
• Produce Capital Expenditure Budget

Monthly Reports Produced:

• Rooms Lead Times
• Outstanding Debtors
• Food and Beverage Income by Product

Oversee Cashing up and Payroll functions

• Payroll would need to be processed by Finance Manager in absence of the finance assistant
• Cashing up is covered by Finance Manager when the finance assistant is off
• Finance Assistant posts the Supplier Invoices and Credit Notes

Systems used:

• Sage Accounting and Payroll
• Microsoft Excel
• Reslynx/Guestline/Access Booking System
• Newbridge EPOS system
• Trust Payments/Omnipay for Card reconciliations
• Outlook for Email
