Finance Manager

We are recruiting a Finance Manager role for a rapidly scaling, PE backed, environmental services business.

This role will be responsible for the following:

• Lead and develop a finance team of three, covering Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger functions
• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insightful commentary
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls
• Partner closely with the CFO to develop financial insights and enhance reporting capabilities across the business
• Play a central role in FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support value creation projects, such as process improvements, system upgrades, pricing strategies, or M&A due diligence
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to take ownership across management accounts reporting, team leadership, and business insight development.

This role will suit a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven experience in a similar finance line management role, ideally within a fast-paced, growth-oriented business.

Exposure to supporting strategic or value creation projects (e.g. business case development, system implementations, operational efficiencies) will be beneficial.
