Castlefield Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a progressive public sector organisation who are looking to identify a Finance Manager to join their Corporate Finance Team on a permanent basis.

The Finance Manager will report to and work closely with the Director of Finance and will be responsible for the providing a high providing high quality financial and corporate accounting services.

Responsibilities include;

• Acting as the technical accountancy lead supporting the Deputy Director of Finance
• Leading on the core aspects of the organisation's accountancy functions including the statement of accounts production, closedown and budget setting processes
• Leading on the production of financial reporting to officers and members
• Working with key stakeholders to ensure a robust financial control environment, and ensure financial risk is understood
• Identifying and implementing financial control improvements
• Management and development of small Finance team

The successful candidate;

• CCAB/CIMA qualified Finance professional with post qualification experience and evidence of continuing personal development
• Public sector finance experience
