Finance Manager

The Role
Nigel Wright are supporting a reputable client in Durham who have an immediate requirement for a Finance Manager to join them on a short term basis initially for 4 months, with potential for longer term opportunities to arise!
As Finance Manager, you will cover the following areas of responsibility:

• Oversee management accounting activities for assigned business divisions.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial forecasts and planning cycles.
• Ensure financial compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Manage and support a team, providing leadership and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance project management reporting.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of capital accounting processes.
• Deliver accurate and timely management accounts to support decision-making.
• Act as a key liaison between the FP&A team and other departments to align financial goals.

About You
We are looking to speak to fully qualified finance professionals (ACA, CIMA. ACCA or CIPFA) with evidenced skillset providing Management Accounting and Business Partnering services to wider departments within a large and complex organisation.

Fast paced working is essential and the successful candidate should be ready to start in a contract opportunity quickly.
