Office-Based | Full-Time (9am–5pm)

My client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic and friendly team. This is a pivotal role in a growing business, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real impact. You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of all finance-related activities.

• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cashiering duties
• Process payments, including subcontractor payments and supplier invoices
• Manage company credit cards and staff expenses
• Handle payroll and ensure compliance with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
• Complete CIS reconciliations and VAT returns
• Maintain accounts receivable/payable and oversee credit control
• Prepare accounts up to trial balance for external accountants
• Use Xero for all accounting functions

• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar finance role
• Strong knowledge of CIS and VAT
• Proficient in Xero
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• A proactive team player who enjoys a fun, supportive work environment
• Must be able to drive and be in the office every day
