Finance Manager

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a successful SME based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, who have the requirement to hire a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Joining the business during a period of sustained growth and investment, the successful candidate will take on a broad remit of work whilst being supported by the Finance Director. This role would be a great step up for a Management Accountant or Junior Finance Manager who’s looking to organically progress within a business as they grow.

What will the Finance Manager role involve?

• Daily management of two transactional accountants;
• Oversee and support when required with ledger entries, reconciliation and day to day transactional accounting tasks;
• Management accounts preparation for one entity, including commentary and analysis;
• Support the Finance Director with statutory reporting and year end;
• Business partner with members of the production team to communication financial information;
• Assist the Finance Director with other project based tasks when required.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:

• An ACCA / CIMA qualification is not essential but is advantageous;
• Previous experience working as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager is required;
• Hand on and flexible approach to work, ideally with experience in an SME environment.
