Description

• Profit and Loss - account analysis, variance reporting
• Balance Sheet - account reconciliations and analysis
• Monthly and quarterly Management Accounts and group financial statements
• Sales reporting and profitability analysis (product, customer)
• Journal entries - creation and posting to Xero
• Liaising with Local authorities on payments due.
• Working on Local authority spreadsheets for annual uplifts.
• Liaising with Housing benefit teams.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

• A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience in managing financial operations within the public sector or a similar environment.
• A strong understanding of public sector financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
