Finance Manager

We're looking for a high-calibre, technically astute Finance Manager to join a leading client in industry. This is a rare opportunity to join a finance team and a centre of excellence. This isn't your standard technical accounting role. It's a high-impact, highly visible Finance Manager that bridges the gap between regional finance teams, senior stakeholders and global operations.

Provide best-in-class accounting and leadership across a dynamic, fast-paced global finance function, supporting continuous improvement, compliance, and high-quality financial reporting. Other key responsibilities will include;

• Identify and interpret new accounting standards or emerging practices relevant to the Group.
• Provide clear technical guidance to both the Group and regional finance teams.
• Review current accounting practices across the Group, identifying and delivering areas of improvement.
• Own and implement action plans to improve processes in line with evolving technical reporting needs.
• Support on significant transactions, advising on accounting treatment and technical impact.
• Deliver training and guidance on complex accounting issues in a way that is accessible to non-financial audiences and operational stakeholders.
• Strengthen the Group's control environment with practical, risk-aware solutions.
• Collaborate with auditors, senior finance leads and external stakeholders.

The role of Finance Manager targets

• ACA or ACCA qualified, likely trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 or a mid-tier firm.
• Strong technical background with experience in IFRS and consolidation.
• Capable of building credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and board-level leaders.
• Proactive, improvement-minded, and confident in navigating change.
• Calm under pressure, thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
