Your new role
Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage the company's day-to-day financial operations.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage VAT returns
• Oversee finance operations such as accounts payable and receivable and month-end close processes.
• Partner with the leadership team to deliver a financial strategy aligned with the company's growth ambitions and commercial goals.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support decision-making.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Identify areas for financial efficiency and automation.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role.

• Ideally qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA).
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role within an SME.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence at senior level.
• Confident with financial systems and Excel reporting. Sage Line 50 experience is desirable.
• Highly organised, pragmatic and hands-on in approach.
