Finance Manager – TV Production Company - £50-60k - HYBRID

A leading scripted TV production company is looking for a proactive, hands-on accountant to support its growing finance team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a part-qualified, newly qualified, or finalist-level accountant to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment in the entertainment industry.

You’ll work directly with the Finance Director and collaborate closely with production finance, operations and the wider business—playing a key role in management accounts, analysis, and supporting the financial needs of live productions.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end management accounts, journals, accruals and prepayments
• Liaise with production teams to reconcile and support ongoing productions
• Support audit, tax credit and end-of-production reporting
• Help manage the ledgers and oversee payment runs, credit cards, and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and finance plans including Tax Credits and preparing models and assisting with analysis
• Prepare cost reports and assist with cashflow, budget tracking and SPV admin
• Preparing Production Cash Flows
• Add value by improving systems and reporting processes as the company grows
• Get involved with ad hoc analysis, VAT returns, and support on smaller productions

What we’re looking for:

• Part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, sumifs) and confident working with data
• Experience in media, TV or production is a plus
• A proactive self-starter who enjoys solving problems and improving processes
• Excellent communicator – collaborative, organised, and able to work independently
