Finance Manager

Reed Finance is proud to be working in partnership with an established international business to recruit a technical and dynamic UK Finance Manager.

Working closely with the Operations Manager and Overseas Group Function, you will play a crucial role in running the day to day of the UK Finance Function, assisting Group with efficient and timely reporting and analysis in order to drive operational and commercial performance.

Duties Include:

• Prepare and analyse financial reports for the Milton Keynes and European Head Office, including monthly statements, budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Manage core accounting functions such as journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and trial balance reviews
• Coordinate audits and compliance activities, including year-end audits, internal desk audits, and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Completing statutory returns accurately and on time
• Support cross-functional collaboration, including training finance staff, coordinating with tax accountants, and assisting site management with financial insights
• Dealing with ad hoc queries

Requirements:

• Must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with industry technical Accounts experience
• Strong analytical and data story telling skills
• Knowledge of Local GAAP and at least basic level of US GAAP knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
• Manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous

Salary and benefits:

The role of UK Finance Manager has a salary of up to £70,000pa plus bonus, great benefits and hybrid working.
