Finance Manager

Adele Carr Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly growing company who are seeking a Finance Manager to compliment the existing finance team.

The company in question are fabulous to deal with and their industry is becoming more and more in demand. The highly skilled Finance Manager will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, the Finance Report, monthly OpEx and CapEx Summaries, support for production of Budgets and financial (Re) Forecasts. This position may also provide an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress and develop further within the Finance function over time.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsibility for the timely and accurate production of the monthly Management Accounts and the monthly Finance Report.
• Provide support to the Head of Finance with the timely and accurate production of the company's annual Budget and any periodic Re-forecasts and any long-term financial Forecasts for strategic planning/fund-raising purposes.
• Responsibility for the production of detailed Monthly OpEx and CapEx Summaries.
• Support the Head of Finance during the annual Audit.
• Support the Head of Finance with the timely and accurate production of clear and concise Justification Papers/Project Reviews relating to ad hoc projects.
• Liaise with external business stakeholders including deputising for the Head of Finance if required.
• Assist with, in a timely and accurate manner, the filing/provision of all statutory and other reports/returns.
• Drive continuous improvement within the Finance function.
• Any other adhoc tasks delegated to Company Accountant by the Head of Finance or by the Chief Financial Officer.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Essential

• To be successful in this role, applicants need to have the following essential skills and experience:
• Degree or equivalent.
• Chartered Accountancy Qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
• 3-5 years post qualification experience in a company finance role/finance business partner role.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels within an organisation.
• Mentoring skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience of using ERP, MRP, FP&A and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI).
• Ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
• Collaborative approach/team player.

Desirable

• Experience of working for a fast growing VC/private equity backed company/group of companies.
• Experience of implementing ERP, MRP and FP&A tools.
• Fund-raising (debt or equity) experience.
