Finance Manager

Reed Finance are delighted to be supporting a leading UK-based construction and infrastructure group is seeking a Finance Manager to join its central finance team.

This is a key role supporting the Group Financial Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance across a diverse and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly financial reporting process for group holding companies
• Coordinate the annual external audit and statutory account preparation
• Oversee group-wide cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and processes
• Support the development and consolidation of the annual group budget
• Manage group treasury operations and day-to-day finance transactions
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations including VAT, Corporate Tax, P11D, and PSA
• Handle financial aspects of insurance, rebates, and intercompany recharges
• Provide financial modelling and commercial support to the property division
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and insights to senior stakeholders

About You:

• Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with statutory reporting
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience in cash flow management and financial controls
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external advisors
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
