Description

• Drive financial insight and decision-making by leveraging advanced Excel skills and ERP systems (NetSuite) to analyse key performance indicators and support strategic business initiatives.
• Ensure financial integrity and compliance through meticulous month-end and year-end procedures, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT accounting, maintaining accuracy across all reporting cycles.
• Provide commercial support across departments, attending internal meetings to translate financial data into actionable insights that influence operational and strategic decisions.
• Manage and optimise financial operations, including daily cash flow updates, payroll coordination, and oversight of accounts payable processing, ensuring smooth and efficient financial work flows.
• Champion data-driven culture by interrogating and analysing financial and operational data, maintaining dashboards, and continuously improving reporting tools to enhance visibility and performance tracking.

Profile

• Open to experienced finance contractors who are now seeking a permanent role and ready to bring their expertise into a growing, fast-paced business environment.

• Commercial acumen is essential, with proven experience in interpreting financial data to support strategic decisions and drive business performance.

• Advanced data manipulation and presentation skills are a must, particularly in Excel and ERP systems, to deliver clear, actionable insights across the business.

• Ambitious and growth-oriented, with a strong desire to progress into a Financial Controller role in the near future, supported by a proactive learning mindset.

• Collaborative and communicative, able to work cross-functionally and contribute to a positive, team-driven culture while influencing stakeholders with financial insights.

• Accounting qualification (part-qualified or above) is preferred but not essential, with emphasis placed on practical experience and a strong aptitude for financial analysis.
