Finance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on an exclusive and retained basis with a PE Backed market-leading manufacturing business within the healthcare sector. They have enjoyed substantial growth over the last few years and this is set to continue so this is an exciting time to join the business.

The group has 10 sites across the UK, including manufacturing sites in the Midlands, North and South Wales and Devon. The business employs approx. 800 staff and has a turnover of around £100 Million.

The role will provide and will work closely with both the Finance Director and Managing Director, operating as a Finance Business Partner in the delivery of numerous commercial and strategic initiatives.

Duties will include: -

• Leadership and guidance to the existing finance team of 2
• Overall finance lead for all aspects of the preparation of the management accounts, budgets and reforecasts for the division
• Month-end close process for the UK and US businesses
• Analysis of performance against budget and rolling forecasts
• Creation and provision of reporting and insight into financial, commercial and other performance KPIs
• Provide financial leadership and challenge to maximise working capital efficiency
• Business partnering with operations and senior management teams
• Support the annual audit process, acting as the key point of contact

Qualifications and Experience:

• A qualified accountant who has ideally had exposure to both commercial (especially B2B) and manufacturing environments
• Demonstrable analytical and modelling skills
• Excellent excel and dashboard / reporting skills
• Ability to work with and influence finance and non-finance colleagues remotely as well as on-site
• A team player with a great work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated with an inquisitive and curious mind
• A keen eye for detail
• Flexible and pro-active
• Comfortable working in an ever-changing and dynamic environment
• Rigorous approach to delivering to deadlines
• Hands-on and willingness to learn
