Location: Accrington – hybrid - Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: Up to 50k plus benefits

A leading UK business based in Accrington is seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a small finance team. This is a key position within a collaborative and dynamic organisation that spans across the UK and Ireland.

The Role

You will have overall responsibility for the finance function, cash flow management, and production of accurate financial reports. You will also manage and support a small finance team members, ensuring timely reporting and maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Full production of monthly Management Accounts
• Forecasting and Budgeting – tracking performance against targets
• Year-End preparation and liaison with auditors
• VAT reconciliation and submissions
• Annual Surplus calculations and reporting for group members
• Financial analysis and reporting, including Income and Overrider accruals
• Oversight of key finance functions: Sales, Purchases, Payments, Nominals, Petty Cash
• Management of cash flow and company bank accounts
• Administration of company credit cards
• Reporting directly to the CEO and wider senior team

The ideal candidate:

- 5 years experience in a similar role
- My client is open to qualification, the focus is mainly on experience
- Attention to detail is crucial in this role
- Good excel skills
