Financial Manager | Owner Managed E-Commerce | £60k-£65k | Hybrid working (4 days in office)

Working for a recently appointed Finance Director, this position will provide integral support to the Board, take ownership of all MI reporting, and partner with the FD on commercial finance and strategy. The Finance Manager will be responsible for mentoring one member of staff and taking ownership of all day-to-day finance matters.

Salary: £60,000-£65,000
Location: North Manchester, with hybrid working available.
Main Duties:
Oversee the monthly management information (MI) pack, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow/working capital statements.
Review and ensure the format of the monthly MI pack continues to meet business need.
Prepare Board slides for CFO review and present the monthly MI pack with commentary.
Produce the monthly KPI scorecard with both qualitative and quantitative measures.
Conduct deep dive analysis into the performance figures to explain performance.
Provide trend analysis, focusing on weekly sales, margin analysis, delving until sub-category and brands against budgets set.
Prepare the initial draft Annual Budget for the business for review by the CFO, ensuring accurate finance models.
Prepare forecasting models to review quarterly and annual revised forecasts.
Person Specification:
ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified Accountant with experience working in an SME environment.
Strong excel skills.
Experience working in a month end role with ownership over all MI information.
Experience working in a fast paced, and ever-changing business is essential.
Excellent experience of development processes and controls.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
