Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this key leadership role will see you take full ownership of daily finance operations, leading a team of nine across two locations. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely management accounts, driving financial control, improving processes, and supporting strategic planning across a complex and fast-paced business.

Key responsibilities include overseeing payroll, subcontractor payments, CIS and HMRC reporting, monthly reconciliation of key accounts, and managing budgeting and forecasting processes. You’ll play a vital role in improving the efficiency and accuracy of the finance function, while fostering a culture of accountability, development, and high performance within your team.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience leading finance functions in a multi-entity or divisional environment possibly as a Finance Manger, Head of Finance or Finance Manager. You will bring strong technical knowledge, sound commercial awareness, and a solution-focused mindset. Experience with Sage Line 50 and advanced Excel skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
