Finance Manager

Axon Moore are excited to be supporting a growing business in the Carnforth area to recruit a new Finance Manager. This role is paying a competitive salary of up to £50,000 with a flexible hybrid working arrangement on offer.

Responsibilities include:

o Preparing annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial models
o Monitoring performance against budget (variance analysis) and offering insights
o Assist owners with making strategic decisions on the growth of the company
o Working with heads of department to advise on budget allocation
o Managing payment terms with supplier and ensuring customers are paying line with credit terms
o Producing monthly management accounts with commentary on performance ensuring we are analysing trends and making recommendations based on data
o Providing regular financial updates to directors and key department heads.
o Implementing and maintaining robust financial processes and internal controls.
o Ensuring compliance with HMRC, Companies House, and other statutory bodies.
o Managing VAT returns, PAYE, and year-end audit preparation.
o Raising invoices and reconciling payments
o Credit Control
o Management of company payroll
