Finance Manager

My client a leading firm of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers are seeking a proactive and experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role within the firm, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term financial strategy.

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 + excellent benefits including hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

• Production and reporting of monthly management accounts.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Cashflow forecasting and management.
• Assisting with project pricing, client cashflows and resource scheduling.
• Analysis and management of departmental profitability.
• Processing and management of Payroll, pension scheme and staff benefits.
• Quarterly VAT returns.
• Regular liaison with external accountants to ensure statutory returns are filed.

You must have:

• Extensive experience using Sage Line 50 accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Excel – including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs.
• Confidence working with systems.
