Finance Manager

Reed Finance are working in partnership with a well-established organisation in the social impact sector to recruit a Finance Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping financial operations and supporting key decision-makers across the business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a senior-level opportunity to lead on financial management accounting, statutory reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. You’ll work closely with budget holders and senior stakeholders, providing expert advice and ensuring the smooth running of core finance functions including accounts payable, receivable, and management accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets
• Prepare statutory accounts in line with relevant accounting standards and reporting timetables
• Deliver detailed financial analysis to support procurement, investment appraisals, and tender pricing
• Oversee finance systems and drive continuous improvement across financial processes
• Line manage and support finance staff, fostering development and performance
• Present financial information to Boards and Committees, contributing to strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with internal audit recommendations and statutory returns
• Support treasury and loan management activities in collaboration with the Head of Finance

Candidate

• Chartered Accountant
• Strong experience in Financial Management Reporting
• Proactive mindset
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, and strong influencing skills
• Effective Communication & Business Partnering Skills
