The Commercial Finance Manager will oversee financial operations within a not-for-profit organisation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes. Description

• Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Provide financial analysis to assist in strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Supervise and support the accounting team in day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with organisational objectives.
• Monitor cash flow and develop strategies to optimise financial performance.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

• Must be ACA qualified
• Proven experience in financial management within a not-for-profit or similar sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
