Finance Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established (and growing) business in Hertford as Finance Manager. Reporting into the MD, you will be responsible for managing the overall finance function of the business and managing a small finance team. As the business continues to grow (organically and by acquisition) there are opportunities for this role to grow and develop.

Your core role will include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Provision of variance analysis against financial budgets & cash flow budgets
• Management of all financial reporting systems
• Working with the MD to prepare the annual budget to deliver robust financial forecasts for future trading periods
• Manage the finance team to enable the client and supplier invoice process
• Manage payroll process for monthly salaries and commissions
• Manage the payroll liabilities and payments to HMRC and Pension companies
• Complete, review and submit quarterly VAT returns
• Review/maintain a fixed asset register and manage the depreciation/renewals

This is a great opportunity for a Finance Manager who is looking for career progression and to work towards becoming a Financial Controller. They are based in Hertford, have on site parking and this role will be based on site 4 days a week with 1 day at home. Salary- £60-65,000
