Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations within an SME business. There are genuine progression opportunities to FC level. This is an all-rounder finance role with involvement in production of full management accounts, financial reporting, and cashflow management.

This is a permanent role within a long-established SME with a strong people first culture. The turnover is circa £50m.

Description

• Full production of management accounts and financial reporting
• Daily cashflow management for the group
• Managing, developing, and unifying an experienced finance team
• Leading improvements in reporting processes, automation, and system efficiencies
• Supporting the wider business with financial insight, cash management, and decision support
• Playing a part in the review and potential upgrade of finance systems
• Working with a hands-on leadership team to enhance collaboration within the department

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

• A strong background in accounting and finance.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• An organised and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Proven experience in managing financial operations and reporting.
