Finance Manager

I’m working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Leeds that is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join its finance function. This is a key hire within the organisation as they continue to strengthen their financial capability and enhance operational performance.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working closely with operational teams to support strong commercial decision-making in a hands-on environment.

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the site and providing clear, actionable insight to support business performance. Your duties will include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and rolling forecasts
Delivery of accurate financial reporting, analysis, and commentary for senior leadership
Management of cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives
Business partnering with operational and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency and margins
Supporting strategic decisions through financial modelling, analysis, and scenario planning
Driving improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting standards
Potential line management and development of junior finance staff
Candidate Requirements:

ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or similar role
Experience within manufacturing or a similarly relevant, operationally focused industry
Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders
Confident communicator with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
