Finance Manager | Swindon | Full Time – Part Time Considered | £42,500 to £47,500 dependant on experience For more than 45 years, our client has designed and manufactured digital displays for use in a wide range of markets. From advertising displays in cinemas, stations, and retail stores, to information displays at airports, railway stations and on-board trains and buses. The worldwide Group employs over 1500 employees in more than 10 countries. The UK subsidiary, serves the UK market with 30 employees and subcontractors based in Swindon and across the UK. Are you the right person for the job? The following criteria are essential for this role Accounting qualification Advanced use of MS Excel Technical accounting knowledge Excellent skills in providing and interpreting financial information A good working knowledge of financial regulations and legislation The ability to monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends The ability to produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines Fluent level of spoken and written English The ability to analyse change and advise coworkers and stakeholders accordingly. Proactive personality able to act on own initiative High level of integrity Responsible and trustworthy Able to work with staff from all departments and at all levels Able to find right balance between challenge and facilitation Strong attention to detail Able to work in an organised manner What will your role look like? Managing cash flow Input and payment of supplier invoices Prepare monthly sales / Cost of sales report Prepare monthly management accounts pack for internal and Group use Balance sheet reconciliations Credit control Responsible for preparation of monthly payroll and submission to external provider for processing Manage and reconcile all bank payments and transactions Prepare Annual Budgets in conjunction with UK General Manager and Management Team Main point of contact for annual financial audit by company's appointed accountants Management of Intercompany balances Preparing quarterly VAT returns Liaison with the company's external accountants, group Finance team, suppliers, customers and third parties as required Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries Support year-end accounts consolidation for Group Contracts/legal including leases and management of local insurance policies. Develop relationships with external providers e.g., auditors, bankers, statutory organisations. Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
