Job DescriptionFinance ManagerCompetitive salary and benefits MiddlesexFollowing a period of sustained organic growth, our client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead on the day to day running of the finance function. As Finance Manager you will lead the finance team whilst improving processes throughout the department. This is a hands-on role for a qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) individual who will deliver in an expanding and fast paced business environment. You will be responsible for a timely and accurate month end close including the monthly management as well as group consolidated accounts. The role sits in the heart of the Group Finance team and will work alongside the Head of Finance delivering the strategic demands of the growing business.Responsibilities include:• Preparing consolidated group management accounts, re-forecasts, budgets, and plans• Supporting functions for regular and ad-hoc data reporting• Driving efficiencies in data collection and reporting whilst improving the overall data quality• Preparing, analysing and reconciling monthly financial information• Assessing and implementing internal controls• Assisting in creating and maintaining overhead budgets• Preparing the audit files and handling external auditors• Leading on preparation and submission of returns – P11D / VAT etc• Assisting in managing WIP, Debtors, Creditors, Bank Reconciliation• Ensuring compliance with legislationTo be successful in this role, you will:• Be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)• Have a desire to lead a team• Be a proficient Microsoft Office user• Possess strong spreadsheet manipulation skills• Be able to work effectively to meet deadlines and organise workload and priorities• Showcase your coaching and mentoring skills by leading employees to improve performanceIf this sounds of interest please send your CV in Word format, quoting reference 32121/LT/EL detailing your current remuneration package and availability.
