Finance Manager

Finance Manager Exeter, Devon £38,000 - £45,000 per annum

Our client, a prominent engineering company in the South West, is actively searching for an adept Finance Manager to join their dynamic and expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, preparing reports, monitoring cash flow, analysing data, ensuring compliance, and crucially, supporting the company in achieving its strategic aims through informed financial management.

The responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Manage credit control activities to ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Handle invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Manage client billing, including issuing invoices and resolving billing queries.
• Act as the main point of contact for external accountants, facilitating communication and providing necessary documentation.
• Prepare management reports and accounts on a regular basis to provide insights into financial performance.
• Conduct bank reconciliation for multiple accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Administer payroll processes, including calculations, deductions, and timely payments to employees.
• Manage auto-enrolment pension administration in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

The candidate:

• Essential experience in a similar finance role is required.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
• Excellent organizational skills are required for managing tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent organisational abilities.
