Highly successful international Film & TV business are looking for a high calibre qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Finance Manger to join their team. The role covers the distribution part of the business through a film's lifecycle, with the company releasing multiple new films per year.

As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day to day finance activities overseeing all reporting and management accounting. You will be pivotal in supporting the Head of Finance and CFO in shaping the financial operations of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 2 management accountants and 3 transactional accountants.
• Overall responsibility for monthly P&L and cash actuals reporting, including production of reporting packs and variance analysis
• Review balance sheet reconciliations ensuring continuous improvement in controls
• Manage cashflow, approve payment runs and communicate with central Treasury department
• Responsible for statutory audit and financial statement preparation
• Responsible for accurate VAT records and review of VAT returns
• Develop and improve internal processes and controls
• Technical accounting research and application of standards
• Support the implementation and development of Financial systems
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis

Skills and Qualifications:

• Professional accounting qualification (2+years PQE)
• Proven experience in a finance management role
• Previous team management experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge covering IFRS and UK GAAP
• Excellent Excel skills including nested formulas, vlookups, pivot tables & sumifs
• Passion for the film industry and regular interaction with content
• Organized and analytical
• Proactive with positive attitude and keen attention to detail
