We are recruiting on a behalf of a thriving and profitable real estate group in London a Finance Manager to lead their finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your career, working a stylish and modern office environment.

You will be integral in managing the financial operations alongside an in-house team. This role will suit a qualified Accountant with demonstrated property development, team management, management accounting and financial accounting experience plus experience work on Qube (Property Management system) and strong VAT knowledge.

This role does require someone to be office based 5 days a week in the beginning with the option of working from home once up to speed and the team is functioning well.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare management accounts and financial statements.
• Maintain nominal ledgers using the QUBE system.
• Prepare and file VAT Returns and CIS Returns.
• Liaise with banks and provide financial planning advice.
• Present rent and service charge demands.
• Conduct nominal ledger and bank reconciliations on QUBE or similar systems.
• Chase rental and service charge debts.
• Liaise with banks and finance providers at a management level.
• Manage credit control processes.
• Handle ATED Returns, PAYE, and P11Ds.
• Provide training and supervision to team members in accounting and bookkeeping.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Must be proficient with MRI QUBE or similar property software platforms.
• 5 years’ experience finance management within the UK property market.
• Knowledge of VAT partial exemption and CIS returns.
• Experienced managing or supervising finance & accounting staff
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in presenting rent and service charge demands.
• Skilled in credit control and familiar with ATED Returns, PAYE, and P11Ds.
