Finance Manager/Controller

Hays Senior Finance are working with a growing manufacturer near Lincoln who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager/Controller to join the team in a newly created role.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing a small team in finance, ensuring the month-end and bookkeeping tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner, as well as responsibility for monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, statutory accounts, cashflows, CAPEX, overhead review, stock, costing, as well as reporting and providing key analysis for the senior leadership team and business partnering with a wide range of stakeholders. As well as managing a small finance team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) with recent and proven financial management experience gained in a commercial manufacturing environment. You will be a "hands-on" manager with staff supervision skills, who can work as part of a team and be happy to pick up more routine tasks when required, as well as take ownership of all aspects of monthly and annual accounting to present to the SLT along with insights and recommendations for improved financial control and success. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to interpret and analyse data and produce clear and concise reports. You will have strong IT and process improvement skills. You will be living within close commute of the Lincoln area as the role is hybrid working.
