Our client, a financial services business based in Watford, are looking to recruit a Finance Officer for their established team. The role reports into the Senior Management Accountant and will be responsible for reconciliations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Daily bank reconciliations
• Processing daily payments
• Maintain and update daily control schedules
• Managing payment bounce-back and other payment related queries
• Assist with other financial reconciliations and control tasks
• Assist with the production of monthly management information reports

The ideal candidate will be studying AAT or early stages of ACCA and will have a minimum of 3 years accounts experience. Solid IT skills are required which includes Excel. Understanding of financial controls and accounting fundamentals is essential. Good communication skills are key as you will be liaising with clients but also internal teams.
