Finance Officer

• Annual Salary: £26,530

• Job Type: Permanent / Temp to perm, Full-time (35 hours per week)

Join a dedicated team as a Finance Officer, focusing on Sales Ledger tasks within a busy finance department. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for professional development and a chance to work in a variety of financial operations.

• Daily posting and reconciling Retail & Trading Income for over 30 charity shops, including banking and card reconciliations.
• Reconciling Retail Income to the CRM system and posting ad hoc expenditure.
• Raising weekly Education and lettings invoices, applying the correct VAT element, and maintaining accurate spreadsheets.
• Managing all E-commerce Income platforms and reconciling to CRM platforms.
• Posting and allocating receipts to the Sales Ledger.
• Liaising with external auditors on all Income streams.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard, in line with mandatory and best practice guidelines.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role.
• Proficiency in using Sage.
• A keenness to learn and develop new skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• A good standard of secondary education, including a minimum of grade C in Maths and English GCSEs.
