Finance Officer

We are seeking a proactive Finance Officer to provide transactional finance support, within a centralised Finance Team, to our SEND schools, provisions and multi-disciplinary teams across Greater London. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices, supplier administration, staff expenses, approvals and payment processes. You will provide responsive customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring queries are followed up promptly. As a positive team member you will work closely together to ensure effective day-to-day financial processing, good clear communication with budget holders and a continuity of service.

• Experience within a similar role of Finance Officer, Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger .


• Proven skills in financial software, ideally Sage 200c.


• Proactive with the ability to work flexibly and independently, and an eye for detail.


• Proficient IT, verbal and written communication skills.
