Finance Officer

Finance Officer | £28,000 - £32,000| Fixed Term Contract | Shropshire :

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a not-for-profit organisation in Shropshire in to recruit a Finance Officer to their busy team. The role is offered on an initial interim contract for 12 months fixed term, the role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Duties:

• Responsible for payment runs and agreeing payment plans
• Liaise with internal and external customers to resolve any queries and ensure prompt payments
• Responsible for ensuring the validity of debtor invoices
• Assisting with the payroll process, including pensions and liaising with HMRC

• To assist and provide support with the wider finance teams

Experience:

• Must be able to use Excel and able to learn new systems
• Previous experience working in a financial services position
• Excellent customer service skills and willing to learn
