Finance Operations Lead

A global data centre provider is seeking a highly motivated Finance Operations Lead to oversee and optimise financial operations and spearhead a new ERP system implementation. The ideal candidate will possess strong finance operations and project management skills, proven ERP implementation experience, and the ability to establish financial master data governance for data integrity and compliance, ensuring a smooth transition and enhanced efficiency within a customer-focused and employee-centric environment.

Your new role

• Oversee day-to-day finance (AP, AR, GL, payroll, reporting), develop efficient controls, and monitor performance.
• Collaborate on requirements, lead finance team configuration, testing, training, and data migration. Ensure financial modules are integrated effectively.
• Develop and implement data management policies for accuracy across the ERP.
• Monitor financial data quality, implement fixes, and manage the data lifecycle in compliance with regulations.
• Post-ERP, analyse and improve finance processes through automation and system integration.
• Mentor the finance team, partner with other departments, and contribute to strategic financial planning.
• Educate teams on master data best practices.
• Develop data quality and compliance dashboards for management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend process/system enhancements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
• 10+ years in finance operations, with 5+ years in a lead role.
• Proven ERP implementation experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
• Strong knowledge of data governance, quality, and lifecycle management.
• In-depth understanding of financial processes, regulations, and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of financial data management regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial software; ERP expertise is essential.
