Finance Paralegal

Our client, a multi-practice leading US law firm are looking to hire a Finance Paralegal for their Singapore office.  The office is small in size however you will receive substantive experience in which you will assist with transactions, draft and proofread legal documents, undertake due diligence and work with high-profile clients, working directly with all of the partners and associates.

Key Responsibilities for the Finance Paralegal (Singapore):

• Assist lawyers with all aspects of finance transactions, including creating closing indices, proofing and amending documents, updating closing checklists and master closing bibles
• Draft corporate authorities and ancillary documents
• Limited due diligence in relation to corporate powers and authority
• Proofread and check documents
• Assist the team in consolidating and updating know-how
• Conduct research related to transactions and filings through both print and electronic sources
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the lawyers

Key Skills for the Finance Paralegal (Singapore): 

• Have at least 6 months of paralegal experience within a corporate/finance department at a City/London/large regional law firm
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Have a strong academic background:
  - Obtained a minimum 2:1 degree
  - Have strong GCSE and A Level grades (or equivalent)
