Finance Process & Onboarding Analyst – Remote with occasional travel

Overview
We are seeking a Finance Process & Onboarding Analyst to support a large-scale client onboarding programme for a growing technology business. The successful candidate will work closely with finance, operations, data and client stakeholders to document business processes, support onboarding activities and help integrate new businesses onto the organisation's platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant or finance professional with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Support the onboarding of multiple businesses onto the company's technology platform.
Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business activities, finance processes and operational requirements.
Document and map current and future-state finance processes.
Gather, analyse and validate business requirements.
Assist with the implementation and configuration of finance systems and workflows.
Work alongside data and technology teams to facilitate onboarding activities.
Produce clear process documentation, user guides and operating procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI and modern technology tools.
Support testing, process validation and transition activities during onboarding projects.
Maintain strong communication with project teams to ensure smooth delivery across multiple workstreams.Required Skills & Experience
Experience within finance, accounting, finance transformation, finance operations or business process improvement.
Strong process mapping and documentation skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Experience working with finance systems, ERP platforms or accounting software.
Commercially aware with good financial understanding.
Ability to work independently in an agile, changing environment.
Comfortable working across finance, operations and technology teams.Desirable
Experience supporting system implementations or client onboarding projects.
Exposure to automation, AI tools and workflow technologies.
Understanding of data migration or finance process transformation projects.
Experience working within professional services, technology or outsourced finance environments
