Finance Project Controller

A leading global Engineering and IT consultancy is looking for a Finance Project Controller to join their Finance/Project Controlling team in London. This role is ideal for someone with experience in project financials, ideally within technology, engineering, or consultancy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and analyse project margins against targets, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical project managers to ensure accurate margin-impacting factors are understood.
• Lead automation of margin reporting using tools like Power BI, Excel, and Power Query.
• Develop dashboards and reporting outputs to support decision-making.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI and Power Query knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in project financials (revenues, costs, margins) in a technical environment.
• Part-qualified or fully qualified in a financial qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) is required.
