Finance Supervisor

Having partnered with a global company with an office in St Albans, we are on the hunt for a dynamic Finance Supervisor!

Supporting the Head of Finance and taking the lead in their absence, you will oversee the finance team and assist in its daily operations, as well as being responsible for financial reporting and stock accounting.

A supervisory background is essential.

DAY TO DAY TASKS OF THE FINANCE SUPERVISOR INCLUDE:

• Implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures
• Financial reporting
• Supporting with accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries when required
• Support the team with training and support as when required
• Stock inventory and reporting
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Managing the finance team in the absence of the Head of Finance

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FROM FINANCE SUPERVISOR:

• ACCA or CIMA
• AAT Level 4 will also be considered if one of the above is yet to be completed
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a finance related role with 2 years of those being in a supervisory role
