Finance Systems Accountant
Location: Birmingham (1 day per week in the office)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

A well-established organisation is looking for a skilled Finance Systems Accountant to support and enhance its financial systems and reporting capabilities.

Role Overview:

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving financial systems used across the organisation and by external partners. This includes developing and managing reports using Crystal Reports, XQuery, and Excel-based tools, and providing user support as part of a shared service team.

You’ll also work with MS SQL to investigate and resolve system issues, and collaborate with software vendors to implement updates, troubleshoot problems, and identify opportunities for system enhancements.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in financial or performance reporting
• Strong technical skills in MS SQL, Crystal Reports, and XQuery
• A collaborative approach to working with colleagues across departments
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
