Finance Systems Analyst

This law firm are looking for a confident, proactive, and solutions-oriented Financial Systems Analyst to join a fast-growing, innovative firm. This is an exciting opportunity to support the day-to-day operations of the finance systems while contributing to a range of improvement initiatives and technology-driven projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an administrator for financial systems including Aderant Expert, eBilling Hub, and BillFiler.
• Manage and maintain practice management systems and their SQL environments.
• Identify and implement system enhancements in collaboration with internal teams.
• Provide user support across departments including Finance, HR, BD, and fee earners.
• Assist with system upgrades, patches, and technical evaluations.
• Support finance and IT projects, including month/year-end processing.
• Conduct quality assurance and document processes for audit and operational purposes.
• Analyse workflows and develop efficient procedures.
• Create and execute T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Generate ad-hoc reports and support data requests.
• Liaise with third-party providers and internal IT teams to resolve issues.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 5+ years' experience working with accounting systems, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong SQL/SSRS skills with the ability to run queries independently.
• Experience with Aderant Expert is desirable.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality in handling data.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
