The Finance Systems Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems to support the finance department. This role is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial systems.

Description

• Manage the configuration, integration, and maintenance of financial systems to meet business requirements.
• Provide technical support and training for finance teams using the systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations through accurate system controls and reporting.
• Work closely with IT teams to resolve system issues and ensure data integrity.
• Lead system upgrade projects, including testing and change management processes.
• Generate and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Document system processes and maintain user manuals for reference.

Profile

A successful Finance Systems Manager should have:

• Accounting and/or financial related degree or Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience of implementing and/or changing financial systems
• Experienced with data analysis and Excel
