Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Norwich

Salary: c£45,000 plus hybrid working

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will focus on maintaining robust statutory reporting and taxation compliance while driving improvements in financial processes. The successful candidate will also lead key financial accounting projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate statutory reporting and compliance with taxation requirements.
• Oversee balance sheet controls and drive continuous improvement in financial reporting.
• Provide accounting and tax advice to support business decisions and new ventures.
• Lead specific financial accounting projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare financial statements within a group structure and ensure tax returns are correctly filed.
• Support group consolidation accounting and collaborate with other business functions.

What We're Looking For

• ACCA or ACA (or equivalent) qualified.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and tax compliance.
• Experience in group consolidation accounting and preparing financial statements.
• Proven ability to review and implement new financial processes.
• Familiarity with tax structures that maximise efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
